A look at technical aspects will follow ending with breathing and meditation. Afternoons will focus on techniques and tips on understanding and upgrading particular postures and movements in the Ashtanga system. Basia’s teaching is based on profound knowledge and deep respect for the fundamentals in the Ashtanga yoga tradition. Using her long experience she always know what you need. Using warmth and humor, Basia challenge you wherever you are in your praxis and gives you the right tools to work on. Her joy and playfulness is contagious and practicing with her is a true pleasure.

Basia is the reason why i found passion for yoga!! She challenged, supported and guided me through a positive change of lifestyle. In addition to broad knowledge and great adjustment, her energy and sparkling approach to yoga always boosts the enthusiasm in the Shala, making the asana practice enjoyable and accessible for all practitioners – from advanced to beginners.

I have had the pleasure and privelege to take several yoga teacher trainings under the nurturing guidance of my teacher Basia. She is knowledgable, positive and has an energy like few others.

Basia is an dedicated practitioner, experienced teacher and a mother. As a mother myself, I appreciate her knowledge, insight and approach to the teaching. I have been studying ashtanga with her since 2013 and am in the midst of a 300-hr teacher training with her. As a teacher, Basia has an intuitive sensibility with her students. She has helped me attain a lightness within my practice through thoughtful technical adjustments and holistic instruction. I appreciate Basia’s ability to meet her students with openness and offer a neutral encouragement to help her students move forward.
∼ Susan

I met Basia for occasional classes during these years, but started practising with her as my teacher december 2015. Since this I have found a joy and lightness in my practice which I had earlier only had little glimpses of. Basia’s teaching is joyful, encouraging and uplifting. She is a very encouraging teacher, who has helped me appreciate what I know and am able to do, whilst at the same time helping me through the more difficult physical poses and the adjacent emotional stuff that comes up along with it. She is supportive, loving and positive. She is aslo disciplined, perservering and tough when needed. Her technical knowledgne has helped me unlock many yoga poses which I thought were out of my reach due to physical limitations, age or other blockages. I have been injury-free during my practice with Basia and the guidance she has given me has been an important factor in this. Basia is a wonderful teacher with the ability to really see each individual student and take the time to get to know their practice and help them onwards in their yoga journey. Her teaching radiates joy and dedication and I am truly grateful for her teachings.
