Samahita Retreat is known not only for our Yoga Teaching but also for our delicious, healthy food. Over the years we have informally taught many guests how to recreate their favorite Thai dishes from our menu. We know that food is such an important part of our day, not only should it taste good, it should be prepared and cooked with care to nourish and support a conscious, healthy lifestyle. Our choice of food directly affects our wellbeing and can make or break our yoga practice. The art of preparing tasty, wholesome food is a valuable skill in today’s toxic world. This is why we feel our cooking class is an important offering, so you can take time to learn a healthy and nutritious cooking approach to take home and incorporate into your daily life. About Sous Chef Su
Su has been cooking professionally for over 20 years in various restaurants and hotels. She has been instrumental since Samahita Retreat’s beginning in 2003 by finding creative ways to combine delicious, tasty meals and healthy ways to cook them. She assists the Executive Chef in heading our team of talented kitchen and juice bar staff and puts her heart into making the food such a key component at Samahita Retreat.

We recommend that you make your ‘Healthy Cooking Class’ reservation in advance. PleaseΒ contact us. You can also reserve a place while staying here through the Juice Bar at least one day in advance. The class is available daily between 1:30pm and 3pm except Saturdays. Class time is approximately 90 minutes depending on menu choices
