Our Approach to Healthy Weight Loss

We offer you a Healthy Weight Loss diet that is both nutritious and delicious, guide you through a manageable exercise program, re-educate you on how to eat and help you to address the cause of the weight gain. We emphasize the Weight Loss Program as a re-education for your body and mind. During the program you will experience the profound inner adjustments that are necessary for lasting change. You can take advantage of the outstanding yoga available at Samahita Retreat, incorporating the yoga into your weight loss program. And you will also learn how to change your diet to maintain and build health over the long term. This is the most crucial aspect to all of our programs. Rather than a temporary fix to an unhealthy lifestyle, we aim to change your underlying foundation, giving you the tools to build long-term changes into your life. We believe this is the best approach to weight loss.

Before you begin it is important that you are ready to take your health into your own hands, and when you can sincerely say this to yourself, transformation will occur. You must make a firm commitment to change the unhealthy habits and take responsibility for excesses, then, when your mind is ready to let go of its old unhealthful patterns and adopt healthier habits, you are ready to begin the program.

Throughout the Weight-loss Program you will receive daily guidance and support from our experienced Wellness Team as well as from the numerous resources available in our Wellness Center; books, articles and DVD’s on weight loss and healthy.
