Samahita Retreat Staff

We pride ourselves on providing professional genuine quality warm service that you would expect at a five star resort without all the unnecessary fuss. There are over 60 Samahita Retreat staff who work continuously around the center with their friendly smiles. We have a mixture of Thai locals from all parts of the country including the northern hills, to the rural parts of Isaan, all the way to southern tips and some Koh Samui natives. We are grateful for their hard work and dedication everyday.

Amy Arman

Amy Sharp Amy Arman VDO Bio

Amy has been teaching at Samahita Retreat since 2011, where she continues to work closely with students from around the world. Her intention is to empower students to create their own sustainable practice built on the foundations developed by Paul Dallaghan and Sri. O.P. Tiwari. Amy combines teaching with her role as Managing Director.

Amy studied acting and theatre in London and has been living in Thailand for seven years, working as a freelance writer for magazines, focused on wellness and travel. She has two young daughters. Amy lives her life immersed in raising children, teaching and the biggest practice of all; learning how to live yoga. finding balance and joy through all of life's many adventures. Janet Allen

General Manager

JanetJanet completed her teacher training with Paul in 2005. Her studies and training have continued with many trips to Thailand and India since then. Janet is blessed to have had the opportunity to study pranayama directly with Sri O.P. Tiwariji, deepening her personal practice as well as fostering her love of life long learning.

Janet comes from the Canadian Rockies with many years of experience working in the tourism industry, mainly in Banff National Park. Her 30 years of working in a busy tourist facility cultivated her love of working with people. Also her years of yoga studies has helped her navigate working in a busy National Park facility with thousands of visitors per year.

Janet spent more than 30 years working for Parks Canada, continuing her education along the way, both with management designed courses, balanced with teaching and facilitating yoga retreats.

Janet is happy to come home to Samahita to work with the amazing team of teachers and staff.
