About the Retreat
A week of Yin and Yang Yoga for body, breathe, and mind with Simon Low. This week will be appropriate for both teachers and students who wish to deepen their practice and study of anatomy, asana, pranayama, philosophy and consciousness, while allowing time during the day to relax and enjoy the beach and the beautiful natural surroundings. Simon will be assisted by Yoga Academy teachers and studies will include audio visual presentations, hands-on exploration of anatomy, and philosophical discussion to enhance everyone's enquiry, understanding, and enjoyment.
About the Teachers
Simon Low (BWY, E-RYT500) is one of Europe's most renowned yoga teachers. Originally from the UK, Simon was the Director and a co-founder of London's Triyoga, the UK's most popular yoga studios, where he still teaches regular workshops. As principal of The Yoga Academy, Simon now leads intensive teacher trainings in Europe and Asia, while also running yoga weekends, workshops and holidays in the UK and overseas throughout the year. Originally training as a teacher in the USA with Dr Larry Payne over 20 years ago, Simon has since studied many different approaches to Yoga, traditional Chinese and eastern medicine, ancient and contemporary healing methodologies, centred-movement and physical therapy. 'Healing, health and happiness in mind and body for all students of yoga' informs Simon's teaching. He is a student of A.H. Almaas' Ridhwan School. Simon's primary teacher lives within himself, a relationship he continues to cultivate with the help and guidance of his teachers and practice, while inspiring others to cultivate this relationship within themselves and their own yoga practices. Simon generally describes his yoga teachings as Yin and Yang Yoga, but does not present it as a set system; rather, it is a balanced approach that can inform and enrich all styles of yoga. The Daily Schedule
The program begins at 5pm on the first day of the retreat with a group welcome and departure is at 12pm on the last day.
The schedule is subject to change at the discretion of the teacher.

|7.30 - 10 am||Morning practice - a more dynamic 'yang' style yoga practice, incorporating pranayama, and meditation|

|4 - 6 pm||Afternoon practice - deeply relaxing sessions incorporating restoratives and more 'yin' style classes with pranayama and meditation|

We only have two deluxe one bedroom suites located in our most private building closest to the sea. They have a private bedroom, living room, fully equipped kitchen, generous bathroom and an extra large balcony. Both suites offer a modern open living room with sofa bed, LCD TV, working desk and DVD/ iPod Stereo. They are perfect for a family or couple. The additional rate is a flat rate based on the room and is added on to the total rate package whether a single individual, couple or family.
Our guestrooms are set back just over 50 meters from the water to provide with you with a private community and greater security. A selection of our rooms enjoy this spectacular sea view, while others enjoy the tropical gardens scene.

Thank you to all of you for making my first encounter with Ashtanga yoga so special, kind and healing! It is only coming back to regular life and practise in a somewhat "normal" shala that I fully understand how special Samahita Yoga Thailand is. I missed each and everyone of you today when I started the new year with my first class in Copenhagen. It is 3 degrees celsius here, freezing cold, and looking at the white walls of my new shala I truly missed the ocean and felt slightly lost in the new surroundings. How lucky I have been to get such a first class introduction in spectacular ambience.

Just a quick mail to thank you both for making our visit to YT such a great experience. Everyone was fantastic with Harry which helps me enormously. He really seemed to enjoy himself, especially the beach and his trip to KFC! For me it was wonderful to be able to focus and connect with myself before moving! I so much enjoyed to wonderful food, Tiwari's wise words and Paul's guidence. And Jutima you probably get the least credit being a little in the background but doing all the hard work! I think along with Neil you will be very successful in your new venture!
