About the Retreat
We are excited to bring to Samahita a wide array of healing modalities from practitioners and teachers in the field, as well as our usual excellent quality yoga and breath-work teaching.
All of us yoga practitioners, have discovered that the yoga practice is highly transformative and causes a lot of our âstuffâ to come up. Asana (yoga postures) needs additional support in order to really harvest the true gems of the asana practice that help us to evolve.
These moments are valuable chances â they are in fact huge gifts for us in our evolution to move through something that was holding us back. Some limiting belief, some challenge, be it on the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual level. However, we may not know how to process this. We may not have ever been taught tools for honoring it, giving it space, holding space for it., and even allowing it to continue to move through our system and not get stuck inside again.
In this retreat, we will be including lectures about healing diets and proper nutrition, and the enormous impact that a healthy diet can have on your energy levels and in your daily life.
You will learn how to prepare healthy and easy recipes. These recipes have been chosen for their high nutritional value. Some have particularly been included because of their healing properties and probiotic contributions.

About the Teacher
Anouk Prop is a psychotherapist, registered Yoga Alliance (500 RYT) yoga teacher and reiki master, originally from the Netherlands. She combines yoga, psychotherapy & energetic healing through their very compatible aspects and stresses on the non-medical methods in healing and offers a holistic approach as such. Postgraduate education in trauma healing in combination with yoga put into practice, she has a broad range of experience in the field, varying from working with children and adults with a history of abuse, addiction, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, but also car-accidents and other traumatic events like war or natural disasters. She encounters people with deeply rooted tension, trauma or blockages on a level which.Â goes beyond cognition and shows that yoga and energetic healing can open doors in this. Her mindful approach is focused on empowerment and guiding people towards their own unique essence by gently inviting them to look in the beautiful, though sometimes confronting mirror life provides, taken by her hand of compassion, positivity and enthusiasm
From my experience, I can relate the practice of yoga to an adventurous journey. The journey of LIFE itself. I have practiced yoga since 2004 and taught since 2007 and it has become my way of life. To me, yoga instructor is not just a job, but it is a responsibility and a passion. I feel so blessed, grateful and inspired to be a thread in the majestic tapestry of the lineage of yoga. It gives me strength to feel a part of this unbroken transmission of knowledge from teacher to student.

I completed my first yoga training (RYT 200) from Samahita Retreat with Paul Dallaghan, Koh Samui, Thailand in 2014. I continued my education in Pranayama with Paulâs teacher, Sri Tiwari in July 2016 (RYT 100). In September 2016, I did a teacher training with Kaivalyadhama yoga institute in India (CYA International 200).
I have been involved with nutrition, organic food, vegan and vegetarian food for the last few years, working and collaborating as a cook with yoga retreats in Europe. I am also collaborating with the revising of the Samahita cook book and the buffet at the center. I believe that the combination of a healthy diet and yoga practice are great tools for reaching our full potential as human beings.
In the more recent years, I have been interested in the channelization of emotions as a way to supporting the yoga practitioner. I have participated in workshops in Gestalt therapy and Systemic constellations and I am really interested about how this tools can support enrich the practice of yoga.

Manuel delivered a lovely session in lumpini park for a mixed group of students and made us feel very welcome. Manuel is incredibly informative and educated us about the asanas. He has a great knowledge of each asana and although teaches an astanga style, is adaptable and interesting to talk to about being open to different styles. thank you Manuel, I will come back to another class soon :)

Self-adjustment made easy
Ah yessss! Manuel makes you aware of how much further your body (& mind) can go by teaching how to do it without having to push yourself to the limit. He honors the limitation of every student and just let’s one enjoy the benefits of the pose, stress free. Thanks for constantly reminding us ‘to breathe’. Also by stating the first and basic steps that need to be done in preparation to get out of the pose, i.e. inhaling, curling your toes in, putting down the arm firsts & looking up, etc. I think many teachers forget this because they are so advanced that it has become second-nature to them but to the beginning student it is sooooo important! Gracias Manuel, mucha suerte en todo!

Well done. Kudos to Manuel Yoga.
I attended an excellent and dynamic Vinyasa inspired yoga class for seniors and older adults that Manuel taught on March 9, 2015 in Bangkok. I found Manuel to be not only be quite proficient in the yoga postures but also a super teacher who gave numerous options to meet the needs and capabilities of the people in the class. He also seemed quite kind and clearly explained what we were doing, which added a lot to my enjoyment of his class. I’m very glad that I went.

It’s my third time so far in his class. Manuel was very friendly, approachable and detail oriented. In the class, there were students with different yoga background but could conduct the class and bring out the potential in everyone. Well, I have to say that I’m very inexperienced in yoga but Manuel explained to me step by step the relationship between body and mind during the practice. The way he taught was impressive. Although he didn’t push me too hard, he encouraged me to reach my potential.

Friend / Family Room & Board Rates
These are available to any registered Samahita Retreat guest's partner, family member or friend, who is not interested in participating in any of the programs but will stay in a room and board capacity. Shared accommodation, food, and the facilities are open to the Room & Board guest(s).
During our Peak periods, the friends and family rate applies to single and deluxe rooms only.
Deluxe One Bedroom Suite
We only have two deluxe one bedroom suites located in our most private building closest to the sea. They have a private bedroom, living room, fully equipped kitchen, generous bathroom and an extra large balcony. Both suites offer a modern open living room with sofa bed, LCD TV, working desk and DVD/ iPod Stereo. They are perfect for a family or couple. The additional rate is a flat rate based on the room and is added on to the total rate package whether a single individual, couple or family.

OurÂ guestroomsÂ are set back just over 50 meters from the water to provide with you with a private community and greater security. A selection of ourÂ roomsÂ enjoy this spectacular sea view, while others enjoy the tropical gardens scene.
It is possible to extend your time on detox day by day from an above program as fits your timeline. You can also add extra therapies and treatments to your program at a special discounted rate.
